O artista tamb\u00e9m foi o respons\u00e1vel pela inser\u00e7\u00e3o das primeiras alegorias do festival, na d\u00e9cada de 70.<\/p>\n<p>Em nota, o governo do Amazonas lamentou o falecimento do artista, destacando sua import\u00e2ncia para a cultura amazonense e sua influ\u00eancia sobre outros artistas no estado: \u201cMestre da Cultura Popular, que contribuiu de forma fundamental para a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o do Boi-bumb\u00e1 de Parintins\u201d.
